Ned Buskirk is the Founder and CEO of YG2D- a 501(c)3 nonprofit bringing diverse communities creatively into the conversation of death and dying, inspiring life by unabashedly sourcing our shared mortality. YG2D's prison program, Alive Inside, offers grief workshops, concerts, and enlivening open mics for community affected by the prison system - both inside and out - in collaboration with the prison system's health and wellness programs nationwide, Alive Inside offers community a chance to creatively and vulnerably share, be witnessed, and find healing in a safe container of communal listening, featuring words and music from our Bay Area artists.
