Lindsey Guice Smith began working as a Staff Attorney at the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission in 2010 and has been the Commission's Executive Director since 2015. Lindsey currently serves as Past President of the North Carolina Association for Property and Evidence and Secretary of the non-profit International Association for Property and Evidence. Lindsey is also a lead instructor for IAPE, teaching Property and Evidence Management classes. Lindsey graduated summa cum laude from Elon University in 2005 with a BA in Political Science. She graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in May 2008. Lindsey is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
