Dr. Louise Hewitt is Director of the Innocence Project London (IPL) and a senior lecturer at the University of Greenwich, London England where the organization is based. Louise has run the IPL for nearly seven years, working closely with undergraduate and postgraduate students who undertake casework alongside lawyers offering their time pro bono. Louise undertakes research with the English Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC). Her most recent report examined the effect of the corrected joint enterprise law from R v Jogee [2016] UKSC 8 on applications made to them.
