Susan Hyon received her International Yoga Teacher Training certificate in 2017 from Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) in Chennai India. Established by T.K.V. Desikachar in 1976 as a non-profit Public Charitable Trust, KYM is among the premier centers of yoga and yoga therapy in India and one of the few yoga centers to hold the ISO 9001:2015 certification. Currently, Susan is in the license-qualifying psychoanalytic training program at the National Institutes for the Psychotherapies (NIP) in New York City. In addition to her theoretical coursework, Susan practices as a clinician in the NIP Treatment Center, working one on one with patients.
