Jamila Michael is the Case Assistant at the California Innocence Project and has been with the project since starting as a volunteer in January 2020. Within the project she supports and supervises our volunteer legal interns' initial review of innocence claims from Southern California convictions, and participates in community engagement throughout San Diego.
