David Moran
Dave Moran is a clinical professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School and co-director of the Michigan Innocence Clinic. In addition to his clinical work, Dave also teaches law school courses on criminal law, evidence, and criminal procedure. He has published in the areas of criminal procedure, evidence and the use of junk science in wrongful convictions. Prior to becoming a clinical law professor, Dave spent nearly a decade as an appellate public defender in Detroit. His litigation experience includes six arguments before the United States Supreme Court. Dave holds a law degree from Michigan Law School, as well as Master's degrees in physics and mathematics from Cornell and Cambridge, respectively.
