Anne Marie Schubert

Anne Marie was elected Sacramento County's District Attorney in 2014 and has over 32 years of law enforcement experience. In 2002, she served as the first prosecutor of the Cold Case Prosecution Unit. In 2018, she led the investigation and prosecution of Joseph DeAngelo-Golden State Killer. Anne Marie has trained agencies across the USA on the use of FIGG to solve violent crime, identify missing persons and exonerate the innocent, and created innovative community programs for combating truancy. Recognized with the Prosecutor of the Year Award and the POST ICI Instructor of the Year Award, she works both in the courtroom and in the community to provide the highest level of public safety through prosecution, prevention, and innovation.
