Shawnee has been at the Arizona Justice Project for the past seven years and currently serves as the Director of Operations. Shawnee oversees case intake and management, the organization's financials and HR, strategic project implementation, grant management, and student intern program. Shawnee serves on the board of a local AZ non-profit, Abolish Private Prisons. Prior to joining AJP, she spent many years working in the humanitarian relief and development field doing program management, community development, and grant writing, specifically in post disaster settings.
