Sharon Beckman
Sharon is Associate Clinical Professor of Law at Boston College and Director of the Boston College Innocence Program. She serves on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's Standing Committee on Eyewitness Identification and the state-wide Conviction Integrity Working Group. Prior to joining the BC Law faculty, Sharon did criminal defense, employment discrimination, and civil rights litigation in Boston and Chicago. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Law Review. After law school, Sharon clerked for the Hon. Frank Coffin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
