Termaine Hicks

Termaine Hicks is an exoneree and IP client. He served 19 years for a wrongful conviction. During his arrest he was shot three times in the back and the arresting officers lied about the circumstances. During his wrongful imprisonment, Termaine focused on his mental and spiritual health and used creative writing as an emotional outlet. He wrote 12 plays and musicals while in prison and, now free, he hopes to eventually produce and direct plays. Tremaine is a talented writer and artist who continues to utilize his many gifts now that he is free. He is also the founder of StepUp4Youth an organization that enlightens and empowers children and young adults to help curb gun violence and bullying within schools.
