Dr. Ron Schwenkler has been working in the mental health field for over 27 years; with his work experience progressing from child-care worker to clinical director. Ron obtained a liberal arts degree that focused on world religion and culture, as well as philosophy. He then earned a master’s in counseling education in 2005 and a master’s in clinical psychology in 2013 on his way to earning a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2017. Specializing in adolescent and family treatment for the first 17 years of his career, he transitioned to specializing in trauma and performance when he started his doctoral work at the University of Denver in 2012. Ron has national and international trauma training experience and currently has a private practice that serves veterans, federal agents, victims of violence, and personal injury recovery.
