Julian Goldhagen (they/them) is a theater artist and social worker based in Brooklyn, New York. Their storytelling work has been featured at the NYC International Fringe Festival, The Beacon Theater, and the United Nations Palais de Nacion. Julian has been facilitating personal storytelling workshops since 2012, and has worked with groups including The Aspen Institute, Just Leadership USA, and The Urban Justice Center–as well as in public schools across New York City. Julian holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from New York University/Tisch School of the Arts, and a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Community Organizing, Planning, and Development from Hunter College. They are currently a Resident Artist at the Public Theater, creating community-based performance work within the Public Works program.
