Lauren Jacobs
Lauren Jacobs is a Staff Attorney at the Boston College Innocence Program. She developed her passion for the innocence movement as a law student enrolled in the BC Innocence Clinic. Upon graduating BC Law School in 2019, she did a year-long legal fellowship at the Committee for Public Counsel Services Innocence Program, a specialized unit within the Massachusetts public defender's office which aims to identify and litigate post-conviction claims of innocence. In 2020, Lauren returned to BCIP as a Clinical Legal Fellow. In her current role as a BCIP Staff Attorney, Lauren investigates and litigates cases of wrongful conviction, and helps teach and supervise BC Innocence Clinic students and undergraduate interns.
