This session, facilitated by the SF Bay Area's Alive Inside team, in collaboration with the Ohio Innocence Project, offers space for a communal conversation about how we make a life of meaning in the wake of ongoing loss, grief, and trauma. The sharing will open with community members representing varying perspectives of those impacted by wrongful incarceration, led especially by our exonerated community and transitioning into an expanded conversation with those in attendance about the tools and experience we call on to navigate the depths of grief, loss, trauma, while fostering hope and making a life of meaning. There will be resource handouts, along with session notes compiled and made available for actionable support options shared during the forum. There will also be a mental health professional facilitating and able to assist if anyone is in need of additional support during and after the forum.
