Termaine Hicks served 19 years in Pennsylvania for a wrongful conviction. During his wrongful imprisonment, Termaine focused on his mental and spiritual health and used creative writing as an emotional outlet. He wrote 12 plays and musicals while in prison and, now free, he hopes to eventually produce and direct plays. Termaine is a talented writer and artist who continues to utilize his many gifts now that he is free. He is also the founder of StepUp4Youth, an organization that enlightens and empowers children and young adults to help curb gun violence and bullying within schools. Hicks is also a member of the Innocence Project Exoneree Advisory Council.
