Bobby Y. Wallace served 16 years of a life sentence for possession of cocaine before winning his freedom in 2023. Originally from Shreveport, LA, he is a carpenter and welder by trade, as well as a father, brother, son, and grandfather. In his spare time, he works at Community Renewal, a community organization in the neighborhood he grew up in, where he is a mentor to young people.
