Benjamin Taylor is a partner at the law firm of Taylor & Gomez and was elected in 2023 as the first Black President of the Arizona State Bar. His practice focuses on personal injury, family, criminal, and civil rights cases. Taylor earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and a B.S. in finance from Arizona State University. He has worked for the Pima County Attorney’s Office, the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office, and the Arizona State Legislature. Taylor volunteers with the Maricopa County Branch of NAACP Legal Redress Committee and was a board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Taylor was recognized as a top “35 Entrepreneur Under 35” by the Arizona Republic and was a “40 Under 40” National Bar Association & Phoenix Business Journal recipient.
