Carrie Wood is currently the Assistant Supervisor of the Conviction Integrity Unit in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Carrie previously worked as the Managing Attorney for Ohio Justice and Policy Center’s Beyond Guilt Project, the Appeals section of the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in Cincinnati, Ohio, as an Assistant Public Defender in the Appeals and Post-Conviction section of the Office of the Ohio Public Defender where she was a member of the Forensic Training Unit, and at the Ohio Innocence Project. Carrie has previously been a member of the Complex DNA Working Group of the Innocence Network and has conducted numerous trainings on evaluating forensics in criminal cases. Carrie has an undergraduate degree in engineering from Cornell University and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
