Laura Cohen is a professor of law and director of the New Jersey Innocence Project at Rutgers Law School. The author of two books and numerous law review articles, Laura has served as a consultant to the Department of Justice in its investigation of civil rights violations in the St. Louis County, MO Juvenile Court and as the International Legal Foundation's inaugural juvenile justice fellow in Myanmar. She was previously the director of training for the New York City Legal Aid Society and a deputy court monitor in a federal class action challenging conditions of confinement in Puerto Rico's prisons.
