Zoe Engberg is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School and director of the Criminal Defense and Youth Advocacy Clinic. She has also taught in the Wisconsin Innocence Project and Second Look clinics. Previously, she was a trial attorney at The Bronx Defenders, a public defender's office committed to an innovative model of holistic representation. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was awarded the Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholarship. Before law school, she was an investigator at the Orleans Public Defenders Office and worked to establish its capital defense practice.
