Megan McCracken is a staff attorney with the New Jersey Innocence Project. Previously, Megan was an assistant federal public defender with the Federal Capital Habeas Project and the Eighth Amendment Resource Counsel with the UC Berkeley School of Law's Death Penalty Clinic, where she provided litigation support and expert consultation to attorneys challenging execution practices. She graduated from NYU School of Law, where she was awarded the Ann Petluck Poses Memorial Prize for outstanding advocacy on behalf of clinical clients, and in 2015 was awarded the John Paul Stevens Guiding Hand of Counsel Award by the American Bar Association's Death Penalty Representation Project.
