Dr. Mohamad Alkhouli is a physician-scientist and innovator with a passion for bridging the gap between research, innovation, and practice. A renowned expert in structural heart disease interventions, Dr. Alkhouli earned his medical degree from Damascus University and holds eight board certifications in cardiovascular medicine from top-tier U.S. medical centers. Dr. Alkhouli completed an Executive MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with additional certifications in entrepreneurship & innovation, system dynamics, and sustainability from MIT and Stanford.

Dr. Alkhouli's research spans artificial intelligence, fluid dynamics, biosensing, and device development. He has authored over 500 peer-reviewed manuscripts and received numerous accolades, including the prestigious TCT Thomas Linnemeier Award. Currently, Dr. Alkhouli serves as the Vice Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic, where he focuses on fostering strategic partnerships with academics, startups, and industry leaders. He is also the Deputy Editor of JACC Cardiovascular Interventions, the top-ranked journal in interventional cardiology, and holds leadership positions in several national and international professional societies.
