It has been said that intake is the lifeblood of every Innocence Project, and if this is true then the intake specialists are the beating heart moving everything along. Whether your project receives 6,000 letters or 60, we will be covering topics designed to be helpful to manage the intake, overcoming the challenges inherent in the case matter, and prioritization. This panel will be led by intake specialists from two of California's Innocence Projects, each championing unique methods for tackling this task. In addition, we will also discuss the pros and cons of using volunteer and/or student help to process these cases. This is an opportunity to ask your questions and learn how to incorporate these strategies to effectively process your project's intake.
