Bhavana Penmetsa is the Project Manager at the Exoneration Project (EP), where she oversees the organization's intake system, media relations, and works with the Road 2 Reentry team to develop client programming. She manages the EP's quarterly client newsletter, organizes community-building events and resource fairs, such as the annual Wrongful Conviction Day fair, and helps build relationships with partner organizations. Prior to working at the EP, Bhavana worked as a Fulbright Scholar teaching English in Spain, where she led critical writing classes and workshops at the University of Málaga. Bhavana plans to attend law school in the fall and remain in the criminal justice space, eventually working as a legal advocate herself.
