Michael Semanchik is the executive director of The Innocence Center in San Diego, where he oversees operations. Over the course of his career, Mike has embraced technology to overhaul all aspects of innocence work, particularly the screening process. His efforts have led to the release of over 12 individuals wrongfully convicted, serving a total of 171+ years. Mike emphasizes practical results and the use of technology to address issues and promote fairness in the pursuit of exoneration. Mike graduated cum laude from Duquesne University with a business degree and obtained his JD from California Western School of Law.
