This moderated discussion will explore the impact of wrongful convictions on the family system via a panel that includes three wrongfully convicted individuals and their adult children. The discussion will allow the adult children to share how wrongful conviction resulted in the physical loss of their parents and coming to terms with the emotional repercussions that followed. The parent will then join to share the shift in their parenting experience while incarcerated and after release, highlighting the work to repair and rebuild their relationship with their adult child. The panel will discuss their ongoing dynamics and answer questions from the audience.
