Belynda Goff was wrongfully incarcerated in 1996 for a crime that she did not commit. Through the work of the Innocence Project, she was finally released on June 27, 2019​​ – almost 23 years in prison for something she did not do. Belynda has three (now grown) children and five grandchildren. She lives in the Midwest and has been working to build a life since her release, right at the start of the pandemic. She is now employed and continuing to try to bring the truth of wrongful convictions and wrongful incarceration to the public in order to bring about reform to the criminal justice system.
