Bryce Benjet is director of the Queens County District Attorney's Conviction Integrity Unit (CIU) and serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law. Before assisting District Attorney Melinda Katz in creating the first CIU in Queens, he was a senior staff attorney with the Innocence Project and a clinical professor at Cardozo University School of Law. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, he began his legal career at a nonprofit representing people on death row in Texas. He later worked for the Third District Court of Appeals of Texas as a staff attorney and at a law firm.
