Sean Ellis is an exoneree, motivational speaker, and advocate for criminal justice reform. At 19, he was arrested for the murder of a police officer and wrongfully convicted after two juries couldn't reach a verdict. Sentenced to life without parole, his conviction stemmed from police misconduct, including witness coercion, evidence tampering, and misleading forensic evidence. In 2020, Sean co-founded the Exoneree Network with the New England Innocence Project to support exonerees' re-entry needs.
