Sara Jones, executive director of the Great North Innocence Project, draws on her rich background in public service, law, and nonprofit leadership. She began her legal career as an assistant attorney general, then practiced commercial litigation. Her commitment to public service evolved into a career shift to the nonprofit sector, including working in advancement at two law schools. Inspired by her father's work as Minnesota's first state public defender, Sara leads initiatives that emphasize justice, integrity, and cooperation among criminal justice system stakeholders.
