Charles (Charlie) Linehan is former chief of the Conviction Review Unit at the Kings County District Attorney (DA)'s Office, where he oversaw the exoneration of 12 men in three years and logged the 40th exoneration for the office. He began his career with the Manhattan DA's Office, where he served as senior investigative counsel and deputy chief of the Public Corruption Unit, investigating and prosecuting corrupt police officers and public officials. He spent five years in the private sector, investigating fraud and corruption in the construction and real estate sectors, and investigating wrongful conviction cases on behalf of the Innocence Project and civil rights law firms.
