Huma Nasir has over 20 years of experience in forensic casework and DNA analysis and currently serves as the forensic lab director of a private accredited laboratory, DNA Solutions, Inc. She is also an independent forensic DNA consultant and previously served as the technical leader and associate director of Cellmark Forensics. Huma received her BS in biological sciences from the University of New Orleans and her MS in pharmaceutical sciences with a concentration in forensic serology and DNA from the University of Florida. Huma has worked with several Innocence Project organizations, and her testing and case reviews have resulted in numerous exonerations.
