Hotel Reservations
It is possible that the discounted hotel block will sell out, so we recommend booking your room as soon as you have completed your conference registration. Please do not book hotel rooms for people whose conference registration is not yet confirmed, as this can artificially “sell out” our block of rooms and leave conference attendees, including freed/exonerated people and their family members, without a place to stay.

Parking at the Hyatt Regency Chicago
Valet parking is available at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Registered conference attendees receive a 20% discount on parking, for a total of $69.60/day (reduced from $87/day) for hotel guests and $75.20/day (reduced from $94/day) for non-hotel guests. Ground Transportation
The Hyatt Regency Chicago is located 17 miles from O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and 13 miles from Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW).
To/from O’Hare: The best option for reaching downtown from O’Hare is to take the CTA Blue Line train, which goes directly from the airport to downtown and costs approximately $5. Take the Blue Line from O'Hare to the Washington stop, then walk to the Hyatt Regency Chicago (approximately 15 minutes, for a total trip time of one hour). A rideshare service (i.e. Lyft, Uber) costs approximately $50-$65, and a taxi ride costs $55-$70. Time of day and traffic conditions may affect the price and duration significantly.
To/from Midway: The CTA Orange Line train goes directly from Midway to downtown and costs approximately $2.50. Take the Orange Line from Midway to the State/Lake station, then walk to the Hyatt Regency Chicago (approximately 10 minutes, for a total trip time of 40 minutes).
