Our MA/RI/CT/ME/NH/VT District is devoting this 2023 convention to the memory of Linda Dugeau, co-founder of Motor Maids, and her vision of bringing lady riders together. Linda was born right here in Massachusetts and she lived in Rhode Island.

If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, then you probably appreciate the classic look and historical importance of the Indian Motorcycle, which was originally manufactured in 1901 right here in Springfield, MA. You can visit The EstaManthos Indian Motocycle Collection and The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museums at the Springfield Museums while you’re here. You should also check out the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Springfield Armory National Historic Site. If you are a thrill seeker, head over to neighboring Agawam to Six Flags New England. This theme park has a Superman ride with a 208-foot drop!
Riding in the Berkshires
Do not forget about the beautiful riding in the Berkshires just a short ride west of Springfield. Our district states are small, so you will have plenty of time to check out the rest of beautiful New England while you’re here. You’ll find hills, forests, farmland, and postcard-like scenery. In Connecticut, we have historic seaside towns, with attractions like Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium. Rhode Island has miles of beautiful shoreline and the historic mansions of Newport. Vermont and New Hampshire have gorgeous mountains. There’s so much to see here. And the food!!!! Oh my. We are known for our seafood and pizza, and much more. We have the best there is. Whatever you enjoy, history, sports, or great riding, you are sure to find it here.
