The BC/WA/OR/ID District is excited to welcome you to the Motor Maids 85th Anniversary Convention. Spokane is in the heart of our District that spans 618,066 square miles (that's 1.6 million square kilometers!). Needless to say, we have countless stunning roads to explore. You will be amazed by the majestic mountains, white water rivers, glorious forests, high desert country and of course, just a few hours away is the Pacific Ocean.  

The City of Spokane, also known as the Lilac City, was home to the World's Fair in 1974. Our convention hotel, The Centennial, is located in that very same place, now known as Riverfront Park. Within easy walking distance you will hear and see the country's longest urban waterfall. A must on your list should include the beautiful gondola over Spokane Falls! If you love to play in the water, on the Spokane River, you can take a few hours to raft, paddle, kayak or swim.  

The different boroughs of Spokane offer a unique flair. Each is wildly different, unique and interesting.  Spokane is home to numerous up andcoming chefs and is known for fantastic microbreweries. For a quieter, more peaceful experience, we highly recommend ManitoPark. The Duncan Garden is reminiscent of the “manicured to perfection” gardens of Europe.
