This session will explore masculinity and what it means to be a man in our day to day lives. We will discuss how different aspects of our identities – race, culture, class, wrongful conviction – play a part in our identity as men and influence our views on masculinity as a whole. Through interactive activities and discussion, participants will analyze the impacts of both positive and negative aspects of masculinity, uplifting the positive and analyzing the negative. We will close by exploring how we move forward and help hold each other accountable as men.
