Claudia Salinas, a first-generation bilingual lawyer and staff attorney at The Innocence Center, brings a unique blend of passion and experience to the fight against wrongful convictions. She litigates innocence cases and leverages her expertise as a parole attorney to secure alternative releases for clients when exoneration is not possible. Her background includes roles as a staff attorney at the California Innocence Project, a 911 Dispatcher, and a district representative for a state senator. As vice chair of the Innocence Network Executive Board’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, Claudia is a champion for equity and inclusivity, empowering those within the movement to drive meaningful change.
