What: Florida All-Staff Appreciation Event
When: Thursday, November 6 (rain or shine), 3-7 p.m.
Where: Mayo Clinic in Florida Campus (Greenspace between the Griffin and Discovery & Innovation Buildings).
We are so excited to see you! Don't miss:
- A free meal (choose pulled pork or pulled chicken that will be accompanied by Baked Beans, Southern Style Coleslaw, and a bag of kettle chips). Alternative options will be available for those with special dietary needs.
- Dessert trucks will provide sweet treats.
- Music from a local DJ.
- Coffee from Southern Grounds.
- Caring Canines and adoptable dogs from K9s for Warriors.
- Photo booths.
- Axe throwing, Plinko competitions, Pop a Shot Basketball and hockey challenges.

Building our future together, one brick at a time: Meet LEGO Master Luis Saladrigas
Luis Saladrigas, a Miami-based LEGO enthusiast and builder, is known for his excellent creativity and intricate custom LEGO models. As a contestant on Season 4 of LEGO MASTERS, Luis wowed audiences with his innovative designs, keen eye for detail, and passion for pushing the boundaries of what LEGO bricks can become. Beyond the show, he has become a prominent figure in the LEGO community, designing custom models that showcase both technical skill and artistic vision. Luis is also available to host engaging LEGO events that inspire builders of all ages to explore their creativity and embrace the endless possibilities of LEGO.
Luis has made a replica of the main campus and staff will have the opportunity to add the finishing touches.

Food and beverages will be served from 3 to 7 p.m.
Menu
Main: Pulled pork or pulled chicken.
Sides: Baked Beans, Southern Style Coleslaw, kettle chips and beverages.
Dessert: Visit dessert trucks for sweet treats.
Dietary Restrictions
A line in the food tent will have specialty meals for those with dietary restrictions, including vegetarian and vegan options. A chef will be available for additional questions related to dietary restrictions.

Event shuttle service will run from 2:30 p.m. – 7p.m. and pick from the staff stops at the Stabile North and Davis Loading dock and drop off in Lot E-6. The shuttle will continue this loop throughout the event. Staff in Cannaday needing shuttle service should call 6-1744.
As we come together to celebrate, let's also take a moment to express our gratitude for one another.
Staff who sent an Above and Beyond Recognition or e-card by Oct. 31 can choose a backpack tote bag or a Perka Tumbler as a token of appreciation. Read the details.
In-person gift pick-up gets you entered for a prize drawing.
Recognition gifts will be available for pick up at the appreciation event. If you recognize an employee and visit the Employee Recognition tent, you will be entered into a prize drawing for a $500 gift card!
Watch your email for additional details about gift pick up including a QR code that will be scanned at the tent.
If you can’t collect your gift at the event or work at an off-site location, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to have your gift mailed to your home address.
Can I bring my family to the All-Staff Event?
This event is intended for Mayo Clinic staff so that we can celebrate our achievements as a team. You must present your Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card to receive food or prizes at the event.
Are the food, games and entertainment free?
Yes. Food, games, live music and other entertainment will be free.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
The event will happen, rain or shine. Tents will be set up to shield staff from rain if necessary as well as utilizing the space under the solar panels on Lot E-6.
Do I need to bring anything to the event?
Bring your Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card to receive food or win prizes.
What if I don't have a Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card?
If you don't have a Mayo Clinic Access Identification Card, please plan to show proof of employment to staff working the event (e.g., a business card or email on your phone).
What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code for the event is casual. Please follow the Dress and Decorum policy if you attend the event during normal work hours. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you're attending outside your normal work hours.
Do I need to RSVP for the event?
No RSVP is needed.
Will I be paid while attending this event?
This is not a paid activity. Staff are welcome to attend during breaks or before or after work hours.
I'm a remote worker and would like to come to the event. Where should I park?
Lot E-8 is located across from the Hilton Jacksonville, along with Lot E-3.
