Location Name

Description
There is much discussion about how race plays a part in wrongful conviction. It is known that marginalized identities are already more at risk for violence and punishment because of racism, classism, anti-immigrant bias, xenophobia, etc. There is no doubt that this is true and it begs the question of what other marginalized groups are affected by implicit bias or just plain discrimination and bigotry? This panel discussion will delve in deeper into how homophobia has impacted these exonerated panelists both in their wrongful convictions and in their life experiences.
