Let's Talk Relationships: Part 1
Description

Years of feeling isolated from a loved one or romantic relationship possibilities can leave exonerees asking themselves how to start and remain in loving, long-term relationships. Three exonerees and their partners who have managed to thrive in relationships despite decades of wrongful imprisonment will talk about what has helped them (and what has not), give advice and offer constructive lessons on how to trust, love and live with a partner after long-term wrongful incarceration. Topics will include developing trust, communication styles, learning to co-habitat again, sharing traumatic experiences, finding common interests and overcoming toxic emotional barriers developed in prison. There will be significant question time included.
